Welcome to the parent area of our school website where we hope you will be able to find the answers to any questions or queries you may have. 

The school believes that effective communication between home and school builds understanding and trust. When school and parents/carers have a positive relationship, we are all better able to work together to support children’s well-being, development and learning.

At Greenpark Academy, our main point of contact for parents is via Class Dojo.  On Class Dojo, you will be able to see day to day what your child is learning in class as well as being able to contact your child’s class teacher directly. 

Teachers greet children each morning on the playground (KS2) or at the classroom (EYFS and KS1) and hand them over to parents/carers at the end of the day.  If you have any questions about your child and their learning, the class teacher should be your first point of contact, either before/after school or via Class Dojo.

If you do not have access to Class Dojo, or need help activating your account, please speak to your child’s teacher or the school office so someone can help you get started.  Here are some examples of learning from Class Dojo.

You should also have access to Pupil Asset.  On Pupil Asset, you can order and pay for school lunches, see your child’s attendance percentage, access your child’s end of year report, book and pay for after school wrap-a-around care, pay for school trips and update your contact details.  Again, if you are currently unable to access Pupil Asset, please speak to the office who can help you activate your account.

Other ways in which school communicates with parents is via email or text, therefore it is vital that we have your most up to date contact details.  Please ensure yours are up to date by checking the information we hold for you on Pupil Asset.

All of the electronic forms of communication can be translated online into multiple different languages.  When speaking to staff face to face, or on parents’ evening, we are lucky to have members of staff who can speak multiple languages.  If you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact us.
